  • With my engineering and computer science background, I pay a lot of attention to detail. Therefore, I am an excellent proofreader and copy editor.
  • I’m uniquely qualified to help businesses, as well as nonprofits, thrive by offering Case Study and Blog writing services because I have been a blogger for over 10 years and I’m a Certified Case Study Specialist trained by AWAI. Founded in 1997, the American Writers and Artists Institute is the world’s leading provider of copywriting training programs. I am also a member of The Professional Writers’ Alliance.
  • Having been a Market Support Representative and Senior Systems Engineer for IBM, a defense contractor, and now a Certified Sales Enablement Specialist, I write sales materials for B2B companies. I can write most anything a sales department needs, including cold e-mail prospecting templates, selling guides, battlecards, sales decks, and telephone call scripts.
  • I help nonprofits expand their reach by offering GuideStar profile writing and administration services. I have helped other nonprofits go from no profile to platinum. This is very important because grantmakers want to know all they can about your nonprofit before they approve your grant application or contract. Guidestar maintains a database of more than 1.8 million IRS-recognized tax-exempt organizations. They encourage better giving through information by providing transparency in a neutral way.
  • With 40+ years of industry and nonprofit experience, I can do many kinds of content writing and copywriting. Over the course of my career, I’ve written technical manuals and training courses for IBM. I’ve developed websites for decades, including some for the Defense Department. I developed an online training course for the State Department. I managed a restaurant for a couple of years and the list goes on from there to being a nonprofit advisor, Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional, treasurer, and more.

I write copy in Microsoft Word. Changes can be highlighted using the Track Changes and/or Comment features. Also, Adobe Acrobat has a comments feature. If requested, I can use Google Docs. I am very open to comments/corrections.

My fees come with a guarantee that I’ll revise the content, up to two times, to ensure you’re completely satisfied with the way it reads.

AVAILABILITY – I am retired and work 15-20 hours a week doing freelance writing. Except for vacation weeks, I am available 9-5 weekdays, eastern time. If there is a pressing deadline, I could work on a weekend. I prefer scheduled work but if there is a need for a quick turnaround, I may be able to help you out in a crunch.
